Our Story

Ranuwia is a family-owned business founded in the year 2019 managed by husband & wife, Shafu and Ryshan. The idea first came when they were both studying in Malaysia. Shafu has always had a keen interest in drawing, painting, and creative space. While in Malaysia she used to make DIY phone cases and use them to dazzle up their phones and make them for friends as well. From there the idea of creating phone cases inspired by the nature and culture of Maldives came to life.

After returning back home they both kept aside the idea of their phone case line and went to work. However, the idea of creating a brand was never forgotten. Hence, they did some market research and found the perfect unique tempered glass cover to start their brand. They followed their dreams and started creating their phone case line in 2018. With the immense support received for the tempered glass back cover collection, Ranuwia started bringing in more designs and started adding more products to their portfolio. Now Ranuwia portfolio has over 30+ designs of phone cases, AirPod cover, Necklace, and also their latest released product of Totes. This is just the beginning for Ranuwia.
